Additional Information

Mr. Moyers currently hosts a new Friday night national news magazine, NOW with Bill Moyers, at 9 p.m. on PBS. The weekly news program combines documentary reporting, interviews and analysis, not to cover the day's headlines, Moyers said, but to tell, "How the news of the day fits into the perspective of our times."

In his speeches, Mr. Moyers provides his perspective on the myriad of cultural and historical forces that shape our national consciousness around health, spirit and social interaction. Through words and images, he explores the humanist side of government and social institutions and inspires us to explore these layers of our national culture.
