A LVISB provide and management a variety of speakers and entertainment for corporations, associations, private functions and other organizations. We do not supply any "free" speakers.

Q How does Las Vegas Int’l Speakers Bureau get paid?

A The speaker or entertainer always pays our commission, and the fee you are quoted includes this commission. You will pay the same fee for the speaker/talent, when you book him or her through our bureau,

Q I am interested in a particular speaker, but I do not see him listed on your site. What should I do?

A We invite you to give us a call or email us and we will search our speaker database. LVISB.com has many professional contacts to track down the speaker you are reQuesting.

Q If a speaker has an exclusive contract with a given speakers bureau,Ümust I book the speaker with that bureau?

A Most "Exclusive Speakers" are available for co-brokering. That means ifÜyou wish to book a speaker through a bureau that has an exclusive contractÜwith another bureau, the first bureau usually can co-broker with the bureauÜthat holds the contract.

Q Why should I work with a speaker’s bureau to secure a speaker ratherÜthan contracting with a speaker directly?

A You may know what you want to accomplish with your speaker, but don't know who to contact. A bureau is able to secure the right speaker for the right price to meet your needs. Another benefit in working with a speaker bureau is when a speaker must cancel, just before they are to be on the platform. The bureau provides a best-effort search for a replacement speaker.

Seven Keys When Contracting a Speaker

Speaking Fees:

1.Keynote presentations range in length from 30 to 75 minutes depending on the particular speaker. Fees for longer presentations are typically higher than for keynotes. Many of our speakers have half-day and full-day fees. Speaking fees change frequently, but range usually from $2,000 to over $100,000. For an exact quote ask your program consultant at LVISB.com by calling 702-897-9565 or sending an email to: speakers@lvisb.com.

2. Budgeting for a Speaker: Keep in mind that in addition to the speaking fee, you need to account for transportation, lodging and other services such as meals and incidental expenses, books and learning products, audio-visual equipment, costs for special handouts etcetera.

3. Travel Expenses: Speaking fees normally do not include travel. Airfare, lodging, meals and ground transportation are usually in addition to the speaking fee. Some speakers may require first class or business class travel for cross-country and international appearances.

4. Audio and Video Taping of Appearances: Special written permission must be obtained for the rights to video, audiotape, broadcast or transmit a speech. Occasionally there will be a surcharge for obtaining these rights. The surcharge will depend on how the tapes will be used.

5. Autograph Sessions, Receptions, Golf Outing: Many speakers will attend special receptions, play golf or sign books for noÜadditional charge while others may require a substantial additional fee. Since each speaker has his of her own requirements, it is critical to have all requirements agreed to in writing at the time of the initial contract.

6. Contracting: It is important to clearly indicate what you would like the speaker to do prior to signing a contract for services. When you contract for a speaker to decliner a keynote speech the contract fee is for this service only, unless additional services are agreed to in advance and in writing as an addendum to the contract.

7. Payment Terms: A non-refundable deposit is collected at the time a speaker is booked for the event. This deposit guarantees the date. From this point forward, the speaker will turn down all other offers that conflict with your program. In the event of a cancellation by your organization, the deposit will be forfeited. If a cancellation occurs within 90 days of the event date, the entire fee shall be due.

Choosing a Speaker with Star Power

If your main concern is filling a room, you may want to invest in a celebrity speakers (and pay the higher fee). Generally, the more well known or in demand a speaker is, the higher the fee. Look at the celebrity’s name draw, speaking experience, productive value, and relevance to your group organization, and then determine if they are a value to you’re meeting.
